About us

DLD for Youth, Inc. was founded to create a supportive learning atmosphere for underserved, underprivileged, and disenfranchised young men. Our program focuses on imparting computer literacy, economic skills, and vocational training. Additionally, we promote social education by offering recreational and community services for both students and their parents.

  • The importance of education, especially in the context of the 21st-century global economy

  • Self-discipline: exploring its four essential components - self-control, motivation, persistence, and goal setting

  • Coping with father absence: addressing the emotional challenges through discussions like the "Spitting’ Anger" documentary

  • Kwanzaa: Exploring the principles of this cultural celebration

  • Job interviewing skills: Covering resumes, cover letters, and professional attire
